December 2017: Quantiam receives $500,000 grant from NRCan for conversion of CO2-to-Methanol Project

On December 15, 2017 Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre, Randy Boissonnault, on behalf of the Honourable Jim Carr, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, announced $22 million for seven clean technology projects for the oil and gas as well as the carbon capture, use and storage industries.

Quantiam receives $500,000 grant from Natural Resources Canada under the Clean Energy Innovation (CEI) program for conversion of COto Methanol project.

Quantiam Technologies Inc. was one of the seven innovative projects to receive funding under the CEI program, other companies include Husky Oil, Suncor Energy, Proton Technologies, Inventys Thermal Technologies, Carbon Upcycling Technologies, and Carbon Engineering.
